Good review. And this is one of the best, if not the best, overviews of Pianoteq that I've seen. The one error is that the review says that there are just two pianos, the D4 and the K1. Seems to have missed the Erard, the C3, the M, and the historical instruments.
That download link for the other instruments needs to be more prominent. Or could the other instruments just be included in a single download with the program? If I remember correctly, someone else had a problem finding these older instruments. They sound good with the new engine and reverb and effects.
They also wrote as if microphone placement is the new thing in Pianoteq 4. It isn't, it's from Pianoteq 3.
Your mistake... just push letter "O", on QWERTY PC keyboard, & You will have microphone placements .
No, it's not my mistake. Please read my post one more time.
I said - they wrote in the review as if the microphone placement is the new thing in Pianoteq 4. It wasn't a new thing in Pianoteq 4, it was a new thing in Pianoteq 3 at the time.
I'm fully aware of every single thing Pianoteq can do
Ahh I missunderstood... Sorry .
Don't worry, it happens.
