Re: an interesting app

I'm not sure that I understand this program. It replaces midi? Ideally by using LAN cables, but it can be used with a standard midi setup or usb cables?

One page on its site says that you create modulations without having to worry about complex assignments. I don't see how one can avoid assigning controllers or actions to parameters. If you want velocity to modulate a filter cutoff, I don't see how you can avoid specifying that only velocity controls just the filter cutoff. Assigning the one control to the one parameter seems, to me, to be an advantage of midi, not a limitation.

And I'm afraid to try it, in all truth. My setup is not ornate, but I don't won't to spend an hour or two with this, only to discover that there may be few benefits. Has anyone seen reviews? Are there advantages?
