Topic: Trick: slider with on/off behaviour

Well, maybe this is not new to most of you, but for those who are interested here's a little configuration trick especially suitable for live gigs. The "problem" I was faced with that I liked to add amp-distortion to the EP using a slider but I also liked to turn this effect off using also that same slider. A solution is a slider-configuration that will turn off the effect below a threshold. Above that threshold the slider controls the amount of Drive.
To achieve this add the controller twice; once as Effect switch and once as Param 1 control. The default configuration (in the example it is configured for Controller 7) is shown in the following image. The only problem is that the on-off point is reached halfway the slider.

To change the on-off point to a low threshold simply click in the left part of the Effect 3 switch, the part saying "Off". While depressing the mouse button a yellow bar is shown and "Off" changes to "On". While depressing, move the mouse to the left just before "On" changes back to "Off" again. The result will look like:

Now the slider behaves like a on/off switch for low values and as soon it is on, it controls the amount of Drive (well in my configuration).
