Topic: Hi...First Post and Dumb Newbie Question...

I downloaded the demo of PianoTEQ, which I believe is the STAGE version.

I really like the "Cinematic" preset, in that I've had trouble finding pianos that work well at very soft levels, and this sounds pretty darn nice. But I'm trying to figure out whether:

1 The basic version (Least expensive) of Pianoteq will have this preset (and sound like this)

2 Whether there are options to upgrade to the PRO model down the road if you wish?

Thanks so much

Tom

Hi,

The demo is actually the Standard Version not Stage.

Stage does have the D4 Cinematic preset. (sounds just like the standard/demo version)

You can upgrade to standard or pro later for a reduced price (price minus what you paid for stage)

Hi Tom,
you can download both trial versions - Stage and Standard - from the page http://www.pianoteq.com/try. Pianoteq Standard and Pianoteq Stage include the same instruments and presets, with exactly the same sound. In particular they both include the "Cinematic" preset.
