Topic: Pianoteq 4 VST

I just downloaded and installed the Pianoteq 4 trial version and noticed that when I insert Pianoteq 4 as a virtual instrument into Reaper (latest version) the VST is labeled as Bridged (x86). When I did this with my retail version of Pianoteq 3 this did not happen.

Could someone with the retail version of Pianoteq 4 please tell me if the VST is 64 bit in that version or 32 bit as it is in the trial version. The reason I ask is that the behaviour is different between the two in Reaper and I much prefer the "unbridged" version. At least the is my understanding of when the "bridged" label comes up.

Cheers.

Re: Pianoteq 4 VST

If it says bridged, then it's 32-bit. You most likely installed both 32-bit and 64-bit version VSTs... You can freely remove the 32-bit VSTi from your VST plugins folders...

Hard work and guts!

Re: Pianoteq 4 VST

Thanks EvilDragon,

That was indeed the issue. I removed the 32-bit VST and everything is working as it did before.

Cheers, Bryce.
