Topic: Knock on wood
All discussions going on here and other forum on woody sound (nice) vs. metallic (nasty) were both irritating and amusing to me, for some reason. At first I tried to imagine someone opening the lid of a piano, looking at all the glory of the hundreds of steel and bronze strings and the enormous iron frame, and saying aloud "I wonder where that metallic sound is coming from". That already was amusing.
