The sound of your preset is nice in the mix, what is the preset or the fxp please? Thank you.
Hi Stephane - I used the D4 Jazz AB preset unmodified.
I recorded it in Logic on Mac where I used some extra effects on the overall output.
ie: eq, exciter, multiband compressor and extra convolution reverb as you can see from the images...

Thanks!
Just did a new track - a 'movie soundtrack' type of recording using the Cinematic preset along with classical guitar and Omnisphere

Hans,
A very nice mood you created there. Congratulations!
As far as the Pianoteq sound in this particular piece, I think it works better when used as background rather than as a prominent instrument, especially in the upper register.
Hi Michael thanx for the kind words!
I was playing and the starting notes came out which I liked - then hit record and actually improvised the rest together... the guitar was one take as well afterwards...
Just listened to it here now on my laptop after a night sleep and then I have to agree, although when I played and recorded it yesterday evening on my main machine I didn't quite notice it that much - probably shows how fast your ears can get used to a specific sound.... further as a matter of fact I started playing it with a classic preset but since the mood started to get so 'soundtrack-like' I decided to change to the cinematic preset which seemed to fit the bill at the start but I guess you're right.. the part at the end might have been better with that classic preset, but then again, I wouldn't suddenly change piano sound halfway a track - I think that's 'not done'...
The other day I listened to bits and pieces of your album by the way - great work there!!!!
cheers
