It was indeed very soon, ty so much!.

Owners of version Play like me will have to wait a bit for version 4.
While waiting I will still test the demo version.
What can I say, I'm speechless
I just want to salute the company for being so humble to their customers. I've always been greeted with fast accurate and service minded response. When I had an issue with my DAW (Renoise). Julien helped me to trouble shoot and send a request to the Renoise Team. Both parties helped me so quick that I was up and running with a quick fix direct and a final solution in less then a week.
Niclas is also Awesome to deal with every time I've raised a sales question with him. And the upgrade paths is a customers dream really. Free upgrades since version one and 29 Euro for version 4.
I am so proud to be a customer to this company that I bought into the Pro upgrade thou I've been set with the Play version which have been installed to this day since I can't handle all the tweaks anyway
Its just that I know when to support a company thats REALLY dedicated to what they do!
Thank you all for what you've brought to the table and for whats to come. I will take my 25MB Pianos and Addons any day before the mastodon sample libraries that to me only lay and collect dust since I bought Pianoteq.
Best Regards
Stefan
Just wanted to say a big thank you and how amazeballs pianoteq 4 is! I'll certainly be upgrading and to standard from play as well.

I have a very old sample CD that includes a Steinway D, and the similarity with V4 is impressive, although I can't actually play it live at the moment due to an injury. (drats) I'm really looking forward to playing it. The "workshop" examples are very impressive indeed too.
Greg.
This is wonderful! (just been going through the D4 presets.. all of them gorgeous )
Thank you so much, and a big "bravo!".
Do all the D4 Presets going to be present in the play version as well?
best regards
Yes, that was the case with PTQ3 as well.
I tested the demo of V4. Great welcome changes... Nice improvement tenting to be more organic...
But it have only D4, K1Y and YC5. What about the others ? Are it present in the oficial V4 update ?
The Demo have percursion percussion add-ons and one harpsichord.
wow!!, I just noticed a veeery nifty feature: File > recently played on the keybord!
this is genious, no more lost improvised melodies!
how long is the midi stored? for ever? there doesn't seem to be a setting....
