I am wondering just how to do the upgrade.
It appears that I should just click on the serial number that appears on the upgrade page.
Is that correct ?

Pretty much, then from Pianoteq you go to Options->About->Update licence.

You can upgrade the Pro now and play next month from what I can tell
My music PC doesn't connect to the Internet, so I upgraded using my Internet computer.
My purchase confirmation email didn't contain a serial number, and when I see my registered-products information in my user-area page, I see the same serial number as for version 3.
Can that be right?
Anybody else in that situation?

Yep that's correct - it was the same for me and all worked fine.
