Topic: Deactivated by error!

Hello all, I recently had to reinstall my Mac from scratch, the OS etc, and when I opened Pianoteq again I deactivated  it thinking I'd have to do it again, but now I can't make pianoteq work anymore!
How can I re-activate my macbook pro and just rename the device??
it says in the FAQ there's no way to do it..   did I just lose my license ?

any answers would be appreciated thanks!

Re: Deactivated by error!

Hello xkuruma,

I might suggest that you de-install Pianoteq, and re-install it again.  A valid Pianoteq license should allow you to load and register the instrument three times.

Cheers,

Joe

Re: Deactivated by error!

Contact Modartt. They can probably fix it for you.
Though maybe changing the hostname of your
computer is enough. I don't know how to do that in mac (maybe edit /etc/hostname and reboot?)

But i'd ask Modartt first.

Re: Deactivated by error!

Yes, never hesitate to contact us when you run into activation issues. We do not let our customers "lose their license" after a mistake ! This particular issue has been resolved, btw.

Re: Deactivated by error!

Yes I actually just send them an email and they re-activated my laptop, and I didn't have any trouble after that, thanks!
