Topic: anybody here uses RD700GX as a controller?

I want to use it and have problem with setting it up fully as a controller,
especially to be able control volume in pianoteq. Maybe somebody could help.
I already know from Joe in other post I need to send CC#7 but while on small midi controller I could do it on RD700GX cannot find the way to send this signal.
thanks

Hi,

I don't have your Roland, but assuming your Roland's sliders can send midi data, you could simply go into Pianoteq, right click on the volume control, open the pull down menu to 'assign controller' and move a slider on your Roland, and it ~should~ be assigned. Worth a try anyway. Good Luck!

BTW is there a way to save this controller settings? doesn't seem to be saved with a velocity presets.

Re: anybody here uses RD700GX as a controller?

I believe the settings would be saved as part of a sound preset that you save. 'File' menu, then 'Save Preset As', give it a name. If that doesn't do it you'll need to search the manual.
