Topic: Windows 7 tutorials for optimizing services for audio?

There  was a great guide for optimizing Windows XP on the Elder Geek website, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of something similar for Windows 7. Specifically, a guide to Windows 7 services, which ones we need, can set to manual etc.

Does anyone have any info about this?

I'll give it a try, thanks.

Did you notice an improvement with the lastest 3.6.7 and older versions (3.6.6, 3.6.6) with dropouts? On my mac PTQ behaved very non-linearly; it didn't depend on how many notes I played, now it behaves much more consistenly. I go for a very low latency that's why I had this weird sample-click/dropout problem.

I haven't noticed any difference, but I generally use a larger buffer and moderate polyphony.
