Topic: Is Pianoteq 3 PLAY enough for just playing?

I'm not really interesting in tweaking etc or in spending too much money because I'm saving for grand piano. Never tweaked my old acoustic piano anyway
Just want to get basic but good piano for everyday playing.
thanks

PLAY will be absolutely fine. You can always upgrade later if you wish!

Are you aware that there's a trial version that is exactly the same as the Play version, but with some keys silenced? See: http://www.pianoteq.com/pianoteq3_play

Thanks, I'm already trying the demo and I like it a lot. Sound much better then my roland
RD700GX sampled piano or even SuperNatural extension to it.

BTW, does Pianoteq work on MAC???

Yeah, there's a Mac version of Play and the other versions.

I understand I don't need to specify when i buy it which version I need, I'll get pc and mac version in box. I wonder also do we get updates for free or we have to pay?

thanks

Absolutely! I treat Pianoteq Play the same as I would an acoustic, except with volume control.
I use the same piano model almost all the time, I just sit down and play.

You'll probably need to do a little initial tweaking of your velocity curve and possibly your EQ settings to get the best sound out of your equipment, but once you get past that, and pick out your favorite piano model, it's just a piano.

I have just downloaded some of your work. Wow, great background music to work to! Is the bass a vst instrument?  It would be great to have some insight into how you pulled this project together.

Thanks for making this work available, look forward to being able to hear more, I'd urge other forum members to check out Rytmenpinne link. Thanks again for the listening pleasure!

aah, I'm glad you like it the bass is acustic and real, so are the drums My main instrument is drums really, definately handle them best. However I have a big interest in learning many different instuments.. I got the bass about 9 months ago or so..
