Topic: Product idea: modified Pianoteq for the iPad

Hello Modartt team

With the introduction of CoreMIDI in iOS 4.2 you could say that iPad is now open for business. How about a iPianoteq?

Re: Product idea: modified Pianoteq for the iPad

I dream of this. Or a iPod Touch Pianoteq for that matter.

Re: Product idea: modified Pianoteq for the iPad

Not sure how iPad would react on fff.

Hard work and guts!

Re: Product idea: modified Pianoteq for the iPad

Pianoteq on iPad would be fantastic but it currently only has a 1GHz processor I think? Maybe a bit underpowered for Pianoteq, maybe in a generation or two?

Re: Product idea: modified Pianoteq for the iPad

Next iPad should have a dualcore.

Hard work and guts!

Wishful thinking or reliable rumour? Would be great if it's true!

Rumours. Not sure how reliable, but a lot of them make sense: http://www.techradar.com/news/computing...now-900232

Interesting, thanks for the info!

Re: Product idea: modified Pianoteq for the iPad

In a couple of years there will be plenty of tablets around. Just look at Asus, they are showing four different models at CES right now! I was just mentioning the iPad,because it's so hot and sexy...

Re: Product idea: modified Pianoteq for the iPad

I've just read that Korg have a synth iPad app that uses midi in iOS4.2 via the iPad camera connection kit so this is completely doable now, provided iPad has enough oomph for the calculations of course!

Re: Product idea: modified Pianoteq for the iPad

My netbook is about the same size as an iPad, and it has a tactile keyboard.  I think it's sexier than an iPad. Plus, it runs Pianoteq now, today.

Greg.
