Topic: SM Pro Audio V-Machine Standalone VST Player?

http://www.smproaudio.com/index.php/en/...s/vmachine

Anyone try Pianoteq on this? According to their own testing, Pianoteq, Pianoteq 2.3 Trial, and Pianoteq 3 Trial worked. But the processing power seems a bit weak by today's standards, and just because they found it to be compatible, doesn't mean they were able to play a concerto on it.

Thoughts? Experience?

Any other compact modules that can load and play Pianoteq?

V rack is better powered! Dual Core 2.66GHz! Not out yet, but looks promising!

Pianoteq 3 only gets 2 notes of polyphony on the V-Machine. We're waiting for CPU upgrade for that thing...

Hard work and guts!

Wow, I hadn't heard of that yet...
Just had a quick glance on the website and it definitely looks veeery interesting

Does anyone have any experience with it?

I wonder, though, how I could control the thing if I used it as a VST player in a live situation? I'd probably have to bring along a touchscreen, huh?
