Low notes too thin?

I tested the pianoteq play on Mac OS X and I really like the concept and the feeling of playing the piano. Actually the mid and high range notes are amazing. And fun to play.
But I really miss the profound deep, full and massive sounds of the low notes of a real grand piano. In reality the strings of the low notes are wider and therefore produce even more sound than the smaller strings of the high notes. In Pianoteq (and by the way also in the similar product TruePianos) the low sounds seem very thin to me.
Is there any way to fix this? Using the equalizer does not really help, because it changes the sound character of the note too much...

Any ideas how to fix it now or considering for future releases would be appreciated.
