Pianoteq is truly wonderful, I'm enjoying how responsive it is compared to samples.
I'm contemplating buying Pianoteq pro for live use, but I have a question. When I tried it out in my live setup I found myself wanting to tighten up the release envelope. Is there a way to do that?
(Also, it would be great if this forum was useable with firefox 3.6.9/OS X 4.11!)

By "tightening up" you mean decreasing the duration of the sound? You can do that by decreasing the Impendance parameter. There are no envelopes in Pianoteq, per se.
Thanks for the reply. Impedance seems to vary what I would call the decay portion of the sound, rather than the release. I'm thinking of it in terms of a basic envelope: Attack, Sustain, Decay, Release. I'm not talking about the time it takes for the sound to decay to silence as I hold a key, but rather the time it takes for the sound to become silent when I release the key. I want to be able to modulate that such that it the release is faster, meaning that the sound envelopes to silence faster than it does now.
On the stand alone application, look at the "effects" section. Top of the list is "action" - click on that and you'll see various parameters with sliders. Second in that list is "damper duration". If you slide the bar to the left you increase the effectiveness of the dampers so that they stop the virtual strings vibrating quicker. (go all the way to the left and it sounds unnaturally quick)
