Topic: Setting pitch-bend range of PT inside Logic Studio Pro 8

I'm using Pianoteq as an AU plug-in inside Logic Pro 8.

It basically works.

I'm using a microtonal scale and a user keymap.

Because this limits the range of the piano, I'm using 2 copies of Pianoteq.

Now, here's the problem.

I want to set the pitch-bend range of both Pt pianos to +-6 semitones.

I go to Options>Midi, and there's the range at the bottom.

HOWEVER, when I try to change the values, things go haywire:  The pitch of the piano changes, or, I'm unable to simply enter a value of -600 in one window and +600 in the other, or anything.  Using the mouse to increase or decrease the range just causes havoc.

Has anyone tried to set a pitch-bend range of anything other than +-2?

What am I doing wrong?

Re: Setting pitch-bend range of PT inside Logic Studio Pro 8

Never mind.

The numbers are hard to enter, but with some persistence, I got it working.

One strange thing about my controller keyboard is that it generates a different range of values downward than it does upwards.

The solution also involved getting rid of the 'Screensets' in Logic Pro 8--every time you hit a number, Logic Pro 8 reacts by going to a different screen.

My apologies, it appears not to be a PianoTeq problem at all.
