Topic: How to raise or drop the whole keyboard of one octave

Is it possible, with PianoTeq, to raise or drop the whole keyboard of one octave?  I'd like to do that because my keyboard is smaller than a real piano.

If Pianoteq doesn't allow that, can you tell me how I could do it (which software could help me)

Thanks!

Go to Options, MIDI tab, and at the bottom you'll see "Notes Transposition". Use that.

And try to get a full 88 note controller soon!

Hard work and guts!

I don't have that option...  Could I have an old version?  Oups!  My brother told me he bought it some years ago....

Thanks anyway...

I think even older version had that option. However I forgot the new interface.

Also, check if you're eligible for a free update to v3!

Hard work and guts!

Well, thank you, but don't find this option.

Do you know any software that could run in the background and make the transposition?

You could try loading Pianoteq VST version inside VSThost or Minihost (Google it).

Hard work and guts!

It's exactly what I tried sooner. I was hoping that vsthost or savihost has an octave "tweaker" but I couldn't fin one.

My impression is that all of the updates have been free. You should be able to download the latest version and use it.
