here's "Daydream", a lovely ballad credited to Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. to my ear it sounds like of those tunes that Billy really composed and Duke shared the credit for (unlike something like A Train, which really sounds like Duke). for some reason i don't hear people covering this tune that often. it's a shame because it's so beautiful.

What a beautiful music
The calm flow, your playing, throughout the piece keeps me pleasantly captivated. My days always brightened when I see a new upload from you my friend.
And nice ending. The music rolls forward and backward a few times before the broken chords at the end - I like it.
Always a pleasure to listen to your play.
Best wishes,
Stig

thank you so much Stig. i'm honored that you would say that i brighten your day with these recordings i'm glad that you found it both calming and captivating. it's hard to go wrong with these composers!
This is such a gentle journey that resistance is futile (in timely memory of Patrick Steward) and one should just close their eyes and let go. Great stuff Budo!
