An intense competition between Airteq and Syngular

My modest contribution this year (my 14th) is a simple duel between Airteq and Syngular. Testing whether Syngular can keep up with Airteq. To me, the interesting part here is this fun concept, and how we can use Modartt products in very different ways — a duel — rather than the performance of a complex piece of music.
Hope you like the idea.

Airteq: Bowed Ensemble
Syngular: Syngular Lead Melancholic Pluck

Airteq and Syngular mastered the situation – showing that they were in control and, as a result, came through it successfully. They emerged from the duel unscathed.

I wish you all the best of luck in the contest.

Re: Modartt Video Contest 2026 - entries

Dear Friends,

I am really happy to participate in the Pianoteq Contest for the third time!
These days, work leaves me very little time to dedicate to music, but I couldn't miss this annual event that I love so much. As many of you know, my goal is to show that even with simple, modest gear, passion can lead to remarkable results.
After completing the recording of the entire Well-Tempered Clavier Book I with Pianoteq, I have now decided to take on the challenge of recording all of Book II.
I am glad to share this small video with you, featuring J.S. Bach’s Fugue No. 15 in G Major, BWV 884 from The Well-Tempered Clavier, Book II.
I kindly ask for a bit of patience regarding any small imperfections you might notice, this was truly a labor of pure love and enthusiasm!
I hope you enjoy listening to it. Thank you to the Modartt/Pianoteq team and the whole community for organizing this wonderful contest once again. Good luck to all participants!
Greetings from Italy,
Carmelo

Brilliant idea for a showdown Stig!
Pitting Airteq and Syngular against each other in a musical duel is a fantastic way to highlight the versatility of Modartt's physical modeling. Huge congratulations on your 14th entry—really enjoyed listening to how these two distinct sounds interact.
Good Luck & Greetings from Italy
