My fusion of blues and hard bop, perhaps it a fair amount more blues since it dominates the rhythm here but hoping of the jazz influences come through at least some.

Bravo! This make me smile, feeling energized to rhythm and blues and it lift your spirits.
Like dancing, moving energetically to a fast beat, typical of 1950s rhythm and blues (R&B) styles.
And what a coincidence! I like your bass line and it is a bit like my bass line in this Blues trumpets.

The fusion comes through brilliantly Ken! That driving blues rhythm gives the piece a fantastic, infectious energy, while the hard bop harmonic twists and melodic phrasing add great sophistication and color.
