Airteq:

Light-Years From Home: ”Drifting Forever”

Here is an example of somewhat melancholic outer space music, the empty region that exists beyond Earth's atmosphere.  —  Choose for yourself after listening which feeling you could experience:

Cosmic loneliness and emptiness,
Fading stars and doom,
Homesickness and distance,
Poetic and abstract.
Nothing

Liked this one very much grâce à une combinaison of a mechanistic percussive texture and instability.

Thanks so much, Philippe, I appreciate that!

I’ve listened to Zimmer’s film scores and his Roland JV synth series, which quickly became an absolute ”cornerstone” of Hollywood film production in the 90s. I bought a JV-1000 myself—a more affordable version—back then. I suppose I had Zimmer in mind when I created this track.

It would be interesting to hear his comments on this piece of music.

Best wishes,

Stig

This is quite the space adventure, would be interesting to see a full animated short video for this.

Great stuff Stig!

Thank you so much ken. I wonder how Hans Zimmer would make such a video to it....
