Topic: Warsaw Organ Tablature: „Przez Twoje swiete zmartwychwstanie”

„Warsaw Organ Tablature” was the only substantial source of music for keyboard instruments from the area of the Commonwealth of Poland from the second half of the 17th century. It was lost during the devastation of World War II (in the library fire). We currently possess only incomplete copies of the original.

"Przez Twoje święte zmartwychwstanie" ["By Your Holy Resurrection"] is an old Polish church hymn sung during the Easter season.
In the first part, I play the organ; in the second, the Hans Ruckers II harpsichord from Pianoteq.

Thank you Piotr for bringing this rare piece of music history to life!
Given the tragic loss of the original Warsaw Organ Tablature, recording these surviving works is invaluable.
The contrast between the organ performance in the first half and the crisp, resonant tones of the Ruckers harpsichord in the second is fantastic.

There is too much reverb on the harpsichord recording. This is due to the configuration of my audio signal chain, which requires manual switching when changing instruments. I wanted to record the piece without pausing to adjust the reverb settings when switching from organ to harpsichord.
