What wonderful music! Love it! So melancholic and romantic piano piece.
But It also carries a tender, emotional, and bittersweet mood that evokes the fragile beauty and emotional weight of changing seasons (read something like this when was reading about Beckers music). And I think: your way of playing this piece describe exactly the words above. Perfect performance.
Had to read, did not know about this composer either.

Thank you very much for your beautiful and thoughtful words. I’m especially touched that you felt the melancholic, romantic and bittersweet character of the piece so strongly.
I find that description of Becker’s music very fitting: there is something tender and fragile in it, as if the music is holding on to a moment that is already beginning to disappear. I’m very glad that this came through in my performance.
It is also a lovely coincidence that you are writing from Finland, while Paul Becker, although born in the Netherlands, has lived and worked in Sweden for many years. So this little piece seems to have found its way rather naturally into the Nordic world.
