Topic: organteq trial not working

Recently when I open organteq trial it always displays "This version of organteq trial 2.1.2 is really too old. Please download a newer one from http://www.modartt.com/organteq" and "Please wait while Organteq is preparing all the pipes" while getting stuck at 0%, rendering it unusable. Changing instrument and any settings has no effect. It appears on both vst and standalone version. Reinstalling also doesn't help. The os is win10. Anyone knows what's the problem?

Hi Hazenut, so 2.1.2 is the latest and current version. Did you download the version directly from here: https://www.modartt.com/try?

As a Linux user, I can’t really say anything about the Windows version, but I would first look at the usual suspects, such as Windows Defender or another antivirus program. Audio software often does things in memory that can appear “suspicious.”

Maybe try downloading Ubuntu or something similar, boot it as a live system, and test OrganTEQ on it.

yes it was downloaded from official link. I also allowed the program in firewall and antivirus didn't report anything. I hadn't opened it for a while, but it worked before win10 end of support, don't know if it is somehow related to this.
