Hello everyone,
Here’s another little piece, made possible in part thanks to Pianoteq, which I use as my “sketching keyboard” while reading the poem and searching for the right notes before I start scribbling them down.
So… off-topic? Yes and no!
It was also a first opportunity to get acquainted with my new monitoring speakers (Genelec 8040), which I’m still learning to trust. (That probably explains a few mixing decisions that, with a bit of hindsight, no longer seem quite so obvious.)
But what really remains is Jules Laforgue… and his gentle bitterness.
