Topic: PianoTeq and the Adsilent system

I am looking at Adsilent on an accoustic. I see a number of "partner" piano manufacturers use the Adsilent with "their sound" from Modartt. Does that mean the Adsilent is capable of using PianoTeq, or are they using samples created by Modartt? It isn't realy clear.

Examples: Petrof | Steingraeber

‘Physical modelling‘ is the name of the concept behind this new digital and much more authentic approach, and is based on complex software developed by French tuner and mathematician Pr. Philippe Guillaume, CEO of MODARTT S.A.S. Using this software, the company adsilent has successfully computed the Steingraeber Concert Grand Sound using a highly sophisticated modelling process, without the need for a supercomputer on the one hand, while dispensing with the all too well-known deficiencies of signal-based sampling on the other.

So it's definitely implied that the Adsilent can work with Modartt modelled sounds (it doesn't specifically call out PianoTeq).

I know it can be used externally using the Adsilent's MIDI out but it would be good if the Adsilent came with PianoTeq integrated. Pretty sure that isn't the case but who knows...

Re: PianoTeq and the Adsilent system

From its user manual some of the internal sounds are the same as Pianoteq's, even though Pianoteq is not found anywhere.
I think they may have some kind of agreement. It can be a mini PC, but it is doesn't seem to be accesible to the user to install VSTs. In any case, it does feature MIDI out over USB, so anyone could easily use it to drive Pianoteq.
