Wonderful performance Piotr! Mattheson is such an important yet overlooked figure in Baroque music, so it’s great to see his work getting the spotlight here. The choice of the Giusti Harpsichord model sounds absolutely brilliant—the crispness and clarity really bring out the rhythmic drive of this Courante.
