I once read that Jitterbug describes anyone who dances wildly and energetically to swing music.
And you said "I changed quite a bit rhythmically" and "I actually took the rhythm from another famous jazz song…………….."
Anyway, the result was very good.
A unique blend of waltz tempo and lively jazz syncopation created an airy, swinging melody that famously contrasts with the strict, traditional feel of a waltz. Bravo!
Thank you for sharing. A master of this genre with his own style. Budo. AND, I like the slow part fr 3,09 - 3,49 good contrast. Good ending, coming suddenly.
Let me just say that since we started listening and commenting on each other's music (somewhere maybe in 2021 when you played Broadway solo piano…and I Widor's Toccata with Organteq 1, I have always enjoyed your music and still enjoy it. And, as an amateur musician, I want to say that I think I listened in 2021 and now I think 2026, I think you have developed your playing and yourself incredibly much (maybe you play more now than before)….. Your first pieces for me woke me up, here is a skilled man in this genre. And today you are even better!! This is only how I personally feel, but we are all different and do not know how you yourself feel. Hope you never stop playing here in Recordings. Myself, I'm a fan of Modartt and checking in every day.
Thank you budo
Best wishes,
Stig
