Topic: Green Chimneys (Pianoteq)

here's another Thelonious Monk tune, "Green Chimneys." this is one of his more oddball tunes and most people don't play it.  it's definitely not one of the warhorses like Round Midnight or Straight, No Chaser.  nevertheless it's a lot of fun!  this version is certainly not the typical way to do it, but then again i'm not sure what that is since almost no one does it

This is the right way and "the typical way to do it" when budo play it !

Well done - Creativity, Emotion and Expression!
I like especially much those forte sections for example 2,25 - 2,41      3,20 - 3,45
Slow ending is a good contrast to those forte sections

Thank you budo for always sharing your interesting and nice music

Best wishes,

Stig
