Topic: J.S. Bach's Goldber Variations, BWV 988, ARIA

I enjoy alternating between harpsichord and organ, as in this recording of the famous "Aria" that open and close J.S. Bach's Goldber Variations, BWV 988.

For me, as a musician, these two instruments complement each other pleasantly. It's like driving two different cars, each with slightly different handling (different articulations on the harpsichord and organ).

Nice idea, this alternating. I have been using organteq and Pianoteq together at the same time but not this alternating.
Have to try this your way at some point. Thanks for the idea. Geat job as usual.
Thank you rumburak for sharing your music.

P S.  I gave a comment on Fuga a 3 voci” (C-dur) BWV 952 too. If you have time please read it

Best wishes,

Great performance! The contrast in articulation between the organ and the harpsichord is brilliant here. It really highlights the versatility of Bach's writing, and your touch on both instruments is excellent.
