Topic: Moving presets and Bluthner AB question

Q1 Moving presets
I've installed v9 on another laptop.  My old presets from v8 aren't showing.  The last time I did this (installed v8) they appeared automatically.  Is this because v7 was already there on that laptop? Is there a preset folder the program looks for? How do I move my old v8 presets across from that laptop to the new one?

Q2 Bluther AB (was listed in older versions)
Also I've had a Bluthner user preset that is just the old AB one but with mechanical sounds silenced.  The AB preset wasn't there in v8 (I think) but it appeared anyway when I installed v8.  How do I get it in v9 or which is supposed to be the AB preset in v9?  Thanks in advance for any help.

Save it in V8 and load it in v9?

Two different laptops.  It's saved (somewhere) in version 8 on one laptop.  Version 9 is on a different laptop.

Q1 Where are the v8 user presets stored first laptop?

Q2 What file extension am I looking for?

Q3 Can I copy it to a portable drive from the v8 laptop and put it in a directory for the second one?  I've the extra instruments and I remember just having to drag the file on to the Pianoteq interface.

1) I only use Pianoteq on a Mac OS and the presets are under a folder called My Presets under the Library/Application Support/Modartt/Pianoteq/Preset/My Presets - sorry cannot help if using Windows (I assume Linux is the same as the Mac)

Found it. In [Edit] - [Preferences] in the middle section titled "Folders" there's this sentence:

"The user presets (FXP files) are stored in the Presets folder."

Hover the mouse cursor over the word Presets and it gives the location.

For my laptop it was:  C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\ ...etc...
