Really cool chords on this tune. As you say, ”the chord progression drifts around”. Undoubtedly a different take in the word contemplation. But inspiring and fantastic!
Could be like moving freely to music - as feeling "free, happy, and safe in one's own skin”
Ending fr 6,27…..end. Always nice to listen to these endings. I feel here that the last tone/note is missing - but it is a wonderful effect!

thank you so much Stig. i really appreciate it. Wayne Shorter is pretty famous for having ambiguous unusual harmony in his tunes. i always thought by contemplation here he means something like meditation or reflective thinking etc. i'm glad you liked it
