Topic: While We're Young (Pianoteq)

here's a more traditional jazz tune than Debussy this is a ballad by the great composer Alec Wilder.  this recording is in tribute to Marian McPartland, the great piano player who gave so many definitive performances of his music (including this tune), and who was born today in 1918.

A truly sparkling piece, Budo!!!
I really like it. Seeing the standard you've set, I really envy your imagination on the keyboard...

Here again, you are a Master budo!

A simple lead sheet is easy, but a solo jazz piano improvisation demands a high level of musicianship, To make it sound authentic, one need to be comfortable with 7th chords, altered chords, and smooth voice leading.

And you, from what I've heard/learned for many years now, you master this genre brilliantly well.
And I think you got a really  good ”jazz-sound” on this one.

Thank you budo. ”Jazz -budo”     Beautifully played! Enjoyed it much!

Best wishes,

Stig
