A tablet like a Microsoft Surface with a touchscreen is ideal for operating the ORGANTEQ/PIANOTEQ software. However, you should only choose the newer 8 or 9 models, and those with more powerful processors.

A keyboard and mouse are then unnecessary – although they can be connected (if desired) via Bluetooth/USB.

An external sound card is also unnecessary – however, it's a good idea to use any external audio interface.
In the video, the Behringer interface is located on the right side of the Microsoft Surface.

When using an external instrument, the keyboard acts solely as a MIDI controller.
Of course, you can combine Organteq sounds with Viscount sounds. In this case, you must set the pitch/temperament of both instruments to the same.

In this recording, you can see the attached sound in the upper manual, but it is not used for playing. All sounds are from the Organteq software.
