Hello. Has anyone else noticed that for example KIViR cymbalon soft has the sustain pedal held "on" even though the pictorial representation shows it to be in the up position? Depressing the pedal stops the sustain. Is this correct as supposed to be on the instrument or is it a software error? There are quite a few other piano predecessors on the software that exhibit the same "fault(?)". Thanks.
Read the comment on the low part of the screen, it's normal for certain instruments. And there are preset with the pedal inverted named Cimbalom a la piano.

Ah, thank you for the reply. Yes, I have discovered this morning a remark from a posting in 2011:
While I love the sound of the cimbalom in Pianoteq, I'm constantly frustrated by one thing in it: the pedal. On a real cimbalom, the pedal pushes the dampers down, not lifts them (as the pedal on a piano would do), so all the notes are sustained until the pedal is pressed, and to get the short staccato notes, the pedal is held down while striking strings.
It answers my question nicely. I don't think I will bother playing the Cimbalom and others!!!!!!!!!!!!!
