Topic: Swedish Pastry (Pianoteq)

here's a solo performance of one of the great bebop heads in the book, Barney Kessel's "Swedish Pastry."  i have no idea what pastry he had in mind in fact i'm not sure i've ever eaten a Swedish pastry, although there must be some excellent ones.  i have had various Icelandic pastries, at least there was a bakery when i was in school that claimed to produce them.

Beautiful improvisation, Budo!
I really can't understand how you jazz musicians manage to be so dynamic and full of ideas that flow freely on the keyboard, and I truly envy you.

Wow!  I agree with Carmelo to 100%. And two things - Brilliant, and I love that ending !!!  Aaah, that's beautiful.
Thank you so much budo.

Best wishes,

Stig

This is a performance ! One more time, I can imagine a duet when listening to your playing. And this theme is so catchy.

Thank you so much Stig, I'm really glad you liked it.  The ending was a bit wacky and I'm happy it had a positive effect

thank you so much Borealis!  i'm glad the feeling of a duet came across.  i've always loved this head, it's quite bizarre but so much fun.
