Well done in introducing your listener to a large palette of organ tone colours. When most people think of the organ and select the organ sound on their keyboards they are presented with either a full sound or the chapel organ (on more expensive offerings). Here you clearly demonstrate why the organ deserves the title “King of Instruments”!

I hope more people are exposed to this majestic beast on your YouTube channel  - it’s not just for dry religious services in musty, dimly lit spaces. Have you seen Cameron Carpenter talking about some of the delightful ranks on his collaboration? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_27WoAcqe8

I would love for some of the Theatre Organ pipes to be added to OrganTeq too !,, Those sweet Tibia Clausas simply caress the air with judicious tremolo …

Thank you DEZ so much for this interesting Carpenter demonstration.

Well, quite a lot of amazing theatre music can be made already with the tools we have: Organteq, many different
Pianoteqsounds (and all those sounds that are not ”pianos” + using morphing, layering and combining all these sounds, sound fusion, Syngural, using a DAW.

In fact - Everything in Organteq can be tweaked - from the composition of the organ to the sound of each pipe - making it possible to reproduce a wide variety of existing organs or to explore unknowns musical lands. As they say, it possible to tweak the sound of the pipes in unique ways, including reverb effects. With Organteq and Pianoteq we have a great toolbox to make ”kind of theatre organ sounds”. Not many percent of all the possibilities we have to exploit from Organteq/Pianoteq have been used. Where is the creativity? We are so locked into how "it should sound"

I gave it a little try,  February 2021, called it Theatre Organ OrgPiano. Using Organteq & Pianoteq ”fusion”. Most theatre organ musical arrangements are improvised or created by the organist, so did I here too, improvising in my first testdemo in this genre but I’m not an organist
There is soooo much we can do  with what we already have.

I’m going more deep into these things this winter, thanks to you DEZ

Here is my little try for those who missed it in Shared files 19-02-2021 22:51    A "Theatre organ"
