Responsiveness

While I admire all these members that have such a great ear to detect all the most subtle nuances, I often found myself half deaf. But using Pianoteq now for 3 years (I practiced piano with VSTs before) I start to develop a good ear myself. But most of all, while I did not notice the latency that is present with VSTs (not even when someone made me aware) something has changed. Out of curiosity I did start up a VST Instrument I aquired when I got my VPC1 (Alicias Keys because the VPC1 came with a dedicated velocity curve). It took maybe two keystrokes until I registered the latency. This thing I did not register in the past was now present right in my face (or shall I say ear).
So, I add to my list of benefits using a PM like Pianoteq next to the small footprint, the exquist sound, the choice of Pianos and the options to "rebuild" these pianos to your likeing one further benefit -  the great responsiveness.
Only now, that I could build up these sense of timing that was missing, I really know to appreciate Pianoteq full.
