Bach invantion n 12 in A Major BWV 783 has "A feeling of honest German fun" , which corresponds in form to Nos. 5 and 9" (Spitta). Leonard similarly states that the Invention is based on motives of "typical joy".

another gem, Carmelo, bravo.  this was so jaunty and fun.  and as usual the voices were very clear and expressive
