Topic: DoReMidi converter and Expression Pedal issues

Hi Everyone!

I have brand new DoReMidi two pedal converters and a few brand new expression pedals. I have been able to set up the expression pedal in the DoReMidi software to correctly show me gradual value change when I move the pedal 0 - 127 and back down.

However, when I then attempt to connect the device to Mainstage, or monitor it in another midi monitor it seems that only a single value is being sent rather than the gradual changes. Ex: Snoize Midi Monitor shows only a single value across the entire motion and labels it as Expression (coarse). Mapping the pedal into Mainstage results in no expression control and jittery and random values.

Is there a setting that I am missing in DoReMidi or elsewhere? I am happy to provide any extra details if needed.

can you see the variable pedal values in pianoteq midi monitor ?

can you see the variable pedal values in pianoteq midi monitor ?

Also , if I recall correctly, make sure  to use a midi channel that you are listening to in MainStage. 

When the pedal is configured in doremidi , don't forget to press set, and also save the file, so if you want to change it , you can reopen it.
