Topic: Any chance to get close to a Yamaha C2X sound?

Hey there!

I'm obsessed with the sound from this cover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x06_Gb4...mp;index=4
which is recorded on a Yamaha C2X.

I wonder if there's a way to get closer to that mixture of warm and bright tone from any of the Pianoteq instruments, any help would be really appreciated

YC5 Sombre is pretty close.

But bear in mind that this recording has gotten a lot of EQ, Compression, saturation and transient shaping love, as well as a high-quality reverb, so it's not all in the instrument

There's a funny thing in that video, the left hand sounds Felt-like, whereas the right hand sounds more "normal", which makes layering Felt with another preset (YC5 Sombre for example as suggested by daniel) tempting!

In the layer, I would Note Edit the volume for both instruments, reducing the right hand volume on the Felt preset and reducing the left hand volume on the other preset (hence cross-fading them).
