Exporting mp3s from musescore using pianoteq 9 on mac has gaps in audio. Same file using pianoteq 8 is fine. Some kind of problem when using it as a plugin? No issues with realtime use.

I don’t use Musescore or Mac, so this is just a thought... but since you’re not getting answers...
First, be sure you’re using the latest Pianoteq (9.0.3). Fixes include “Workaround for sustain pedal and other parameters updates issues in some DAWs.” I suppose that could be relevant to Musescore, too.
What happens if you export MIDI from Musescore, then load that into the standalone Pianoteq? Does it play correctly? If you export it from the standalone to an mp3, does that work?
If it all works, it won’t answer your question, but it will tend to narrow it down to the interface between Musescore and Pianoteq (without saying which is “at fault”). If it fails, it might suggest what is triggering the problem.

Hello, I was not able to reproduce this with Musescore 4.6.3 and Pianoteq 9.0.3, but we suspect it might be related to the CPU overload detection. Can you uncheck "CPU Overload detection" under Options > Perf and tell us whether that solves the issue?

I was able to reproduce this with Musescore 4.6.3 and Pianoteq 9.0.3.
Loaded as a plugin I cannot access the settings to change however changing them in the standalone app seems to apply the change.
I can confirm with overload detection there is the audio dropout and without it the audio is fine. I can supply files btw. I will email
