Topic: You Do Something To Me (Pianoteq)

here's one of the great Cole Porter standards, "You Do Something To Me."  maybe it's not as commonly played as some of his other more famous tunes (he wrote so many great ones it's hard to do them all!), but it's still awesome.

Another good one from you budo!

There are  three short sections that I immediately reacted happily to in your  excellent playing - in about 1,32 and 1,58 and 2,36 -  you throw in some full chords in ”the middle of the runs”,  it feels really nice!

And the end starts with a very short sudden pause, 2,48, and then it slowly fade out and the final chord ”hangs in the air”, fading out. Interesting ending. I like it (as always).
Thank you budo.

Best wishes,

Stig

I like the fact it sounds as if you're listening to two instruments. Swingy and positive.

Great job, Budo! An energetic yet elegant piece, and despite its dynamic tempo, it's truly enjoyable to listen to. Bravo!

thank you so much Stig, i really appreciate it.  i got the idea for the intro and the ending from the first two measures of the melody.  i wasn't sure about leaving it unresolved but i'm glad it sounded good to you!
