Topic: Problème sur Reaper

Bonjour,

Hi, is it with the AU plugin or VST3 plugin, or both ?

Re: Problème sur Reaper

Hello,
Sorry to bring this question up again:

With version 9.0.2, I'm experiencing a crackling sound issue every time I use the pedals: it's as if there's a faulty audio cable that cuts the sound intermittently but consistently when the pedals are pressed.
Tested with version 8, no problem.
No problem either with version 9.0.2 in standalone mode.

I am on MAC os TAHOE 26.0.1

Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

The sustain pedal increases the complexity of resonance and the polyphony of the simulation so maybe you're running into performance issues? Dropped frames sound like a harsh, dry crackle. Some people have reported that v9 is more CPU heavy (but I haven't observed this myself). To test, reduce polyphony, internal sampling rate and external sampling rate in the pianoteq options and see if the problem goes away

Thank you but this doesn't seem to be a problem related to latency or buffer or CPU charge.

Now, after reinstalling Pianoteq 9.0.2, this problem occurs only on the AU plugin.

So, the VST3 and the standalone version works perfectly at my common setting, 48kHz and 64 samples of buffer
