Topic: New video Bach Invention 5 in E flat Major Pianoteq BWV 775

Dear Friends,

Bach Invention n 5 may be considered a three-section composition. Cadences are not well-defined, however, and the division probably would not be detected from oral observation alone since the episodes do not present any new material and very little development of the motive and countermotive. Rather, the whole composition is a series of repetitions of the motive accompanied by the countermotive. This is the first Invention to use a countermotive throughout the entire piece.
This Invention is described as being "full of grace and dignity".
Enjoy your listening & Greetings from Italy

Thank you carmelo. Beautiful playing, you bring fresh air to each Bach piece. And your recordings are so valuable
Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication, first with WtC1 and now these Inventions. You're such a jewel - special, unique.
Thank you carmelo!
I think it is a bit exciting for you to go on with these ”projects”. And it inspire me to play Bach. Should play a little Bach every day

Best wishes,

Stig
