A few years ago, from across the world of math, I’ve stumbled upon a very different world: the world of music (piano!). Ever since then, for these past 3 years I’ve explored this new world, on my own. An ongoing journey to some form of mastery. Dreams, dreams, dreams;
Meanwhile, succumbed by a deep sense of urgency - of ending a chapter, while leaving something behind, I’ve created this album of few memories:
Vlad the Constant - No Longer Human (live)

(using, of course, Pianoteq: it is undoubtedly the most enjoyable, beautiful and alive form of piano, overtaken in authenticity only by the real thing)
Hello Druffbaum and welcome to this forum,
There is something special about the music/piano playing that appeals to me in episode 2, nice chords some places, episode 6 some parts remind me a bit of Claude Debussy, episode 7 interesting intro and piano playing, and the ending without playing, 16 seconds, was special, good, and the last tone! I often listen to how people who improvise, how they end a song. And nice to see the lyrics up to the left, good idea.
I listened with great interest to this performance. Because, I remember a person I met at a choir practice in 1970, he sat at the piano before the others arrived and played, quite like you, directly what he thought of, without notes, improvised and a lot of his own chords. Directly from the heart that he felt inside. I considered him very unique and valuable. I had the same feeling about you and your playing now too. Thank you for sharing your music.
Unique and valuable.
Best wishes,
Stig
P.S. you said ... for these past 3 years I’ve explored this new world, on my own. An ongoing journey......well my music playing learning is also an ongoing journey. When I was young the teacher said you will never be a pianist.... I have been on learning journey on my own now for over 60 years and still learning
