Topic: Using pianoteq through a mono church PA.

I’m using pianoteq standard in church through a mono setup at my church. 500 seats and two line arrays. I’m running pianoteq on a 2024 iPad Pro going to the board through a radial usb pro di box. Should I put the piano on mono setting with stereo effect or just leave it on the default setting for microphone?

Record a shortish test piece of varied style, pitch etc. and playback with both options. Walk around the room. Let your ears decide.

All the best,

Warmest regards,

Definitely test like Chris suggested, but I'd lean towards mono out by default, as that will likely give you more processor headroom or bit-depth to work with.
