Topic: Making the Jamb stick across startups in the second monitor.

Hi all, I'm Alex, and a fairly new Organteq (and Pianoteq) license holder.

I'm having a great time here, with little sleep, exploring the depths, and heights of both instruments and their particular features.

So,

I've setup Organteq inside a raysession. (Raysession enables the user to build a session of apps and instruments, and save it, complete with all midi and audio connections, here on Linux)
All is good with the session, and after some figuring out (and a bit of cash spent on some new keyboards),I now have a dedicated Organteq setup, with 3 keyboards, and a mini keyboard to handle the pedals for now.

I have two monitors, the main, and a 22" Atlantis touchscreen, which is where i put Organteq, and the combined Jamb. I'd like to save this configuration to open by default on the touchscreen, positioned correctly each time, and although i tried the Ctrl + X option, that didn't work.

My system is Debian Trixie, running XFCE as the WM.

Has anyone done something similar to this, and can offer some clues?

Alex.

I'm not sure if I understand your question, but if I do... I run MATE with two or three monitors and it typically remembers the monitor where each app was opened last time and uses that. There is an option in "Startup Application Preferences" which does the same automatically between reboots (in the options panel, "Automatically remember running applications when logging out"), but that works only for some OS-provided apps (it does not with Firefox, but perhaps that's due to the fact that it uses snaps rather than deb for installations)

Apologies if I completely misunderstood your question.

Where do I find a list of all posts I upvoted? :(

Thanks dv for the input. I'll have a look.
